NOTICE

ANNUAL MEETING - SATURDAY, MAY 13, 2017

Dear Friends of Atoka Cemetery Association,

The annual Atoka Cemetery Association meeting will be held

Saturday, May 05, 2018 this year. It was decided last year by the

Association to have the annual meeting the first Saturday in May due

to the activities that usually go on in May. (ie graduations, Memorial

weekend, etc.) We will meet at the Novice United Methodist Church at

10:00 am for visiting and the business meeting will start at 11:00. At

noon we will have our usual potluck meal. The bread and drink will be

provided.

Following is the burial(s) we have had at Atoka since May of last year:

• Sheilah Kincaid — DOD 9-28-17. We will miss Sheilah as

she and Gary have been wonderful supporters of the Atoka

Cemetery. May you rest in peace.

• Ralph Kincaid — DOD 7-29-17. Ralph was not buried at

Atoka Cemetery but at Midway Cemetery. However, he

always liked to come to the meetings to visit.

We'll miss Ralph too.

Our new president of the Association, Larry Garvin, reported that he

has obtained some pre- emergence herbicide to spray the cemetery

for grass burrs. Hope this works! Clay Richards and his son Colt

(especially Colt) have been taking care of the cemetery maintenance

and mowing. We had fourteen people in attendance last year. I know

we are all getting older and harder to get around but we do appreciate

seeing you all when you can come.

Thank you for your past generosity in giving to the Atoka Cemetery

Association. We depend on your donations to keep the cemetery

mowed and the grave sites maintained. If you cannot attend the

meeting and would to contribute, please send your donation to Atoka
