[Transcription of back of photo; back in .pdf]
"This is Annie Gillison Little, made in Scotland. She was about 5 year old -- 110 years ago. She, with her mother, Mrs. Annie Gillison Little, and her brother Andrew G. Little came to America from Scotland in 1884. On July 2, 1884, they landed at Ellis Island -- than made their way to Texas. John Gillison owned a farm, south of the Mitchell place (where Jack Proctor lived). In 188 [unable to read], she married M. L. (Bud) Mitchell. John Gillison was Annie (Little) Mithell's Uncle. The always called him 'Uncle' -- Mrs. Annie Little's brother. There was only one room and not even a lamp. They got their mail once a month. Aunt Millie"
