MONTEREY (ANDERSON) GRIMES died February 8, 2007 at age 92. She was born November 28, 1914, in Novice [Coleman Co], Texas, the second of 6 children, to MATT and ANN ANDERSON. She married ELDON GRIMES, who preceded her in death July 1982, and they moved from Texas to Alaska to Texas, then to Seattle WA in 1951. Also lived in San Antonio, Chile for 2 years. She moved from Seattle to Federal Way WA in 1997. Survived by son, MIKE (JUDY) GRIMES; daughter, CAROL (JIM) RUBADO; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her brother ALFRED (LaNELLE) ANDERSON of Cisco, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
