Funeral for G. A. Kincaid, 85-year-old retired farmer, was to he held at 2 p.m. Monday [10 March 1952] at the Kiker-Warren Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Kincaid died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday [09 March 1952] at the home of a son, Boyd Kincaid, in Lueders [Jones Co, TEXAS].

J. D. Pinkerton, Church of Christ minister from San Saba [San Saba Co, TEXAS], was to officiate. Pinkerton was Mr. Kincaid's son-in-law.

Born Oct. 6, 1866, at Bonham [Fannin Co, TEXAS]. Mr. Kincaid married the former Sarah Louisa Pendleton, Dec. 21, 1890, in Coleman County. The couple lived there 15 to 20 years before moving to Runnels County, near Winters. Mrs. Kincaid died in 1932 in Rotan [Fisher Co, TEXAS] and is buried at Atoka, Coleman County. Mr. Kincaid also will be buried there.

Since his wife's death Mr. Kincaid has been living with his children. He had been in Lueders since last December. Before that he lived with a son, G. W. Kincaid, in Decatur [Wise Co, TEXAS].

Survivors are four sons, G. W. of Decatur, Albert of Roby, Joseph of Mineral Wells, Boyd of Lueders; four daughters, Mrs. Emmett Bishop of Winters, Mrs W.J. Thomasson of Lueders, Mrs. P.B. Brown of Ovalo, and Mrs. J. D. Pinkerton of San Saba; a half-brother, John Kincaid of Amarillo; a half-sister, Mrs. Nettie Fulgham of Dallas; 28 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
